Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Krit Jetwanna, Vice President, participated in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Green Energy Equity Investment Co., Ltd. (GEEI) from the People's Republic of China, represented by its President Dr. Lin Huan Ku, and Fire Empowerment Co., Ltd. (FEP) from Thailand, represented by Thai partner Ms. Apitchaya Thepsothorn.
The signing took place on January 22, 2025, at the Rabi Badhanasak Meeting Room, Office of the President, Thewet Campus. The MOU aims to establish academic collaboration in the development of innovative and environmentally friendly fire protection technologies, as well as the exchange of knowledge in innovation and technology through research based on each party's expertise. It also includes plans for personnel development, staff exchange, and joint study visits. GEEI and FEP are leading companies in fire safety innovation, specializing in high-performance firefighting foam.
Through this collaboration, the partners intend to develop new fire suppression technologies that help protect lives and property while being environmentally sustainable. In the future, these innovations may replace traditional firefighting foams that contain substances contributing to global warming and posing health risks to firefighters, aiming to promote widespread adoption in Thailand.

โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในด้านการพัฒนานวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีสำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์การป้องกันอัคคีภัย ที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม รวมถึงการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ในการผลิตนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีผ่านงานวิจัยตามความเชี่ยวชาญของแต่ละฝ่าย และการพัฒนาแลกเปลี่ยนบุคลากร ศึกษาดูงานร่วมกัน
ทั้งนี้ GEEI และ FEP เป็นผู้นำด้านนวัตกรรมความปลอดภัยจากอัคคีภัยด้วยโฟมดับเพลิงคุณภาพสูง ซึ่งจากความร่วมมือคาดว่าจะนำเทคโนโลยีดับเพลิงดังกล่าว มาพัฒนาเป็นนวัตกรรมสำหรับช่วยปกป้องชีวิตและทรัพย์สินของมนุษย์ และเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยในอนาคตอาจนำมาใช้ทดแทนโฟมดับเพลิง ที่มีสารที่ทำให้เกิดปัญหาภาวะโลกร้อน และสุขภาพของนักดับเพลิง ให้เป็นที่รู้จักแพร่หลายในประเทศไทยต่อไป
